My name is Katerina Varella, I am a queer Cypriot artist, currently completing my bachelor’s degree at Aki Artez Academy in Enschede, Netherlands, with focus in Fine Art Painting.
My materiality of practice constitutes as a self-identification tool, due to my vague understanding of self, and simultaneously, a window into the geopolitical contexts that are integrated into my points of analysis.
